The Suzy Greenberg MFA Juried Exhibition

Opening Reception Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 6-9 PM

Exhibition Runs: July 20 – August 24, 2025

Work by Malini Basu, Elizabeth Blackwell, Aja Bond, Anissa Cavazos-Rodriguez, Matthew Clara, Graciela DeAnda, Isabela Escalona, Devin Gallucci, Ranran Hu, Camila Leiva, Nelson Liu, Whalen Polikoff, nouf saleh, Angela St. Vrain, Hayden Teachout, and Mai Tran.

This will be SooVAC's 2nd year of exhibiting MFA graduates from both the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the University of Minnesota, honoring SooVAC's Founder, Suzy Greenberg, for her vision and commitment to emerging artists. With fewer opportunities to showcase their work, we welcome the chance to highlight these artists as they embark on their professional arts careers. This exhibition was juried by Trina Fernandez and Prerna.

Soo Visual Arts Center has exhibited over 2500 under-represented artists since opening our doors in 2001. As a leader in discovering new talent and with a strong focus on emerging artists from the state of Minnesota, SooVAC offers year-round exhibition and community programming.

Founded by visual artist Suzy Greenberg in 2001, our non-profit 501 (c)3 art space is based on the founder’s relationship with art—one that views the artistic as vital to personal and community health and vision.
